Privacy policy

Last updated June 2026 · Nexintell Limited (Co. No. 16958958)

This policy explains how Nexintell Limited handles information when you use the Adoptic website. We keep it short and in plain English.

01Who we are

Adoptic is operated by Nexintell Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16958958), based in Stockton-on-Tees, North East England. Nexintell Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through the adoptic.io website.

The Adoptic platform at app.adoptic.io has its own privacy notice covering account holders and platform data processing. You can read it at https://app.adoptic.io/privacy.

02What this website collects

This website is an informational site. We do not require you to create an account to browse it. When you use the search bar or click a call-to-action, you are taken to the Adoptic platform, whose privacy notice then applies.

We collect only the technical information your browser sends automatically (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.

03Business information in the directory

The Adoptic directory contains publicly available information about registered businesses, including trading name, registered address, sector and publicly observable digital presence signals (for example, whether a business has a website or a Google Business Profile). This information is sourced from public registers and public web sources.

Where directory information relates to a sole trader or partnership it may constitute personal data. We process it under our legitimate interest in supporting local economic development and business digital inclusion. Business owners may claim, correct or request removal of their profile by contacting us.

04How we use information

To operate, secure and improve this website; to respond to enquiries you send us; to provide the Adoptic directory and visibility scoring service; and to meet our legal obligations.

05Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers who host and support the website (under contract), with Local and Combined Authority customers where a business's public digital-presence score forms part of an authority's licensed dataset, and where required by law.

06Retention

Enquiry emails are retained for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for up to 24 months thereafter. Directory records are retained while the business remains on public registers and for a reasonable period afterwards to preserve historical scoring.

07Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any right, email sales@nexintell.co. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

08Cookies and analytics

Strictly necessary: one item in your browser's local storage records your cookie choice so we do not ask again. This does not identify you and is exempt from consent under PECR.

Analytics (consent required): if you choose "Accept analytics" we record anonymous events — page views, searches, and clicks on audit, claim, sign-in and demo buttons — with a random session identifier that lives only for your browser session. We do not record your IP address, name, email or precise location, and we do not use advertising or cross-site trackers. This helps us understand how the landing page helps businesses get found. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Lawful basis: consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and PECR Reg. 6). Analytics events are retained for 24 months then deleted.

09Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the date of last update.
