Plain-English terms for using the Adoptic website and directory.
01Agreement
These terms govern your use of the Adoptic website (adoptic.io) and the Adoptic directory, operated by Nexintell Limited (Company No. 16958958), Stockton-on-Tees, England. By using the website you agree to these terms. Use of the Adoptic platform at app.adoptic.io is additionally governed by the platform agreement you accept when creating an account or subscribing.
02The directory and visibility scores
The Adoptic directory lists registered businesses together with a digital visibility score derived from publicly observable signals (website, Google Business Profile, directory listings, social media and customer reviews). Scores are produced by an automated methodology which is peer-archived (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.19051547).
Scores are indicative and reflect what could be observed at the time of scoring. They are not a statement about the quality, solvency or trustworthiness of any business and should not be relied upon as such.
03Claiming a profile
Business owners may claim their profile free of charge. You must only claim a profile for a business you own or are authorised to represent. We may ask for verification and may remove or suspend claims that we reasonably believe to be false.
04Paid services
Verified, Pro Listing and authority subscription plans are described on the website. Prices exclude VAT unless stated. Paid services are subject to the order form or checkout terms presented on the platform at the time of purchase. Business plans may be cancelled at any time; authority annual plans run for the committed term.
05Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website or directory, including by scraping at scale, attempting to gain unauthorised access, posting false reviews or information, or using the service to send unsolicited marketing to listed businesses.
06Intellectual property
The Adoptic name, logo, website design, methodology descriptions and all content we create are owned by Nexintell Limited or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal or internal business use. Any other use requires our written permission.
07Third-party content
Photography on the website is used for illustration. Reviews and business information may be aggregated from third-party sources; we are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party content.
08Liability
The website and directory are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nexintell Limited excludes all warranties and will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
09Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
